ANDREA BOTTANCINO
Originally from Detroit, Andrea Bottancino has loved to paint and draw since childhood. Her creativity began at a very young age at the Detroit Institute of Art studio workshops and later on at The Center For Creative Studies. After college she moved to Los Angeles in order to pursue her career in art.
Andrea began professional work as a scenic painter for numerous TV and film projects. Shortly thereafter, she went on to enjoy a wonderful 23 year career with Walt Disney Imagineering. There, Andrea developed what has become known as her signature talent: unique sense of color, keen eye for detail and intricate design sensibility.
Andrea presently resides in North County San Diego and has shown in galleries across Southern California. She continues to produce individual works of art for her privately commissioned patrons, and across various mediums: landscape, portraiture, abstract design, mixed-media, tile design, and collage.
